Introduction

This website has been put together in order to shine light on an interesting subject that many are indifferent on. Thoughts, ideas, mixed with other people's thoughts and information are presented and fully credited here to explain a theory that may or may not enlighten people. This website contains information outside of the context of religion, at least for the most part. I may, sooner or later, go into the religious political context. This website is a non-profit type with no shop. I have no intention to sell you anything or to convince, influence or persuade you to accept or believe in reincarnation, that is entirely up to you.
What I will do though is encourage you to take notes and or do your own independent research. It is wise to not rely on research by one person or by one group of people, alone, always do your own independent research so that you have a collection of evidences and maybe share it. It is wise and important for you to know or to determine what defines evidence, facts and proof for yourself. If facts or other forms of information can be provided then they will be. As the independent research continues, this website will change so watch out for updates. I wish to take this opportunity to pay our respects to the late great Dr Ian Stevenson, without his work we'd have less knowledge about past lives and reincarnation. Thankfully, his work is being continued by Dr Jim Tucker.

What is reincarnation?

First and foremost, reincarnation is a theory. Reincarnation is supposedly a cycle of birth-life and then death, so some will define it as cyclical in nature. Beyond the point of death is something no-one knows for sure but we can look at theories, myths and legends to see if there is anything that will/could illuminate us. Our research has found that some sources state that rebirth means a new birth or a second birth. What do they mean by a new birth and or a second birth? A new birth being what exactly? A second birth being what exactly? It is useful to be as clear as is possible in order to avoid confusion. This is where the definition of reincarnation gives us more detail. You may find that the word metempsychosis gives a similar meaning to that of reincarnation. Is re-birth connected or associated with reincarnation? Are there sources that associate re-birth/rebirth with reincarnation? No doubt you'll have many questions so lets begin with the basics below.

Q: WHAT DOES INCARNATE MEAN?

A: Incarnate means to be born into a living body or embodied in human form. Embodiment. Hence, reincarnation means to live more than one lifetime. So you're going from one embodiment of human or other life to your next embodiment of human or other life. There are many definitions that differ slightly.
